Meet TeddyBears
TeddyBears are an acient species that are known as elite hunters. They hunt large prey items including human beings with a unique form of mimicry as their main weapon. They will sound like soothing human voices to lure in prey before using large teeth and claws to rip prey appart.
TeddyBears eat their prey alive and in some instances they eat them whole. The mimicry they use to hunt can allow them to make the sounds of other animals too. To date its not know what their unique species sounds are. They are manipulative and highly intelligent, making them impossible to domesticate. They will pretend until you feel safe before consuming you.
They have distinctly long noodle like bodies, long necks, and short stocky legs allowing them to run at insane speeds of sometimes near 100 MPH. They are also known for their owl like eyes and rotating heads. They have been described for a long time but were rediscovered in the 1800s. Back then they were called bandersnatches.
They also are known to hunt simitye though the success rate is not known.
TRIVIA:
- TeddyBears are solitary but if a group is seen it is called a Snuggle.
- The name TeddyBear comes from their round faces and often small muzzles. They are alarmingly cute.
head features:
Neck and Eyes:
They have owl like eyes that are locked in place, meaning the eyes cannot move in their sockets. Because of this they can rotate their heads 360 degrees and they can also make their neck infinitely longer.
Face and Teeth:
They have gigantic teeth hidden in their small shaped muzzles. This is also illusive as their mouths can stretch much like a snake. They also sometimes have masks for faces, meaning that these masks cannot be removed. They can look like materials such as wood or porcelain.
Paws and claws:
Teddybears have retractable claws that are gigantic and razor sharp. They use them to climb, run, and hunt. They also have paw pads that can be soft or rough at will for stability when running and climbing. In fact teddybears can even swim at high speeds.
Communities
Teddy Bears are suprisingly good parents. They are monogamus in most cases, though rarely you may see polycules, and they mate for life. The parental pairs have a wide territory and usually arent seen together since if they are out and about they are hunting.
Parents can have one to two cubs at a time and they protect them ferociously. Teddy Bears are not cannibals and rivals do not normally harm the babies, but the babies can be easily exposed to predators without parental units around. There are no unique roles based on gender, either parent can take up the job of staying with the cub(s).
Teddy Cubs are not hostile but are unaware of how powerful they are, making them still just as dangerous.
-
Teddy Cubs stay with their parents for the first 3 years of life.
-
Its believed that some groups of Teddy Bears will meet for short times to allow their cubs to play.
-
Teddy Bears do have a sense of community, and small communities form with their meeting places in the center of their territories.
-
Teddy Bears who share a community share other responsibilities like allowing other members to hunt if their territory is sparse on prey.
-
Communities have a grand elder that is the oldest of them. This grand elder is too old to attack and on very very rare ocassions a human may meet them. Humans are allowed to see elders unharmed but getting to them is the hard part.
- Teddy Bears give live birth.
